रोमियों 12:1 – जीवन समर्पण
वचन:
“इसलिये हे भाइयों, मैं तुम से परमेश्वर की दया स्मरण दिला कर बिनती करता हूं, कि अपने शरीरों को जीवित, और पवित्र, और परमेश्वर को भावता हुआ बलिदान करके चढ़ाओ: यही तुम्हारी आत्मिक सेवा है।”
✨ वचन की विस्तृत व्याख्या
यह वचन प्रेरित पौलुस द्वारा लिखा गया है। पहले अध्यायों में वह परमेश्वर की दया, अनुग्रह और उद्धार के विषय में बताता है। फिर वह कहता है — “इसलिये”।
अर्थात, जब हमने परमेश्वर की इतनी बड़ी दया पाई है, तो हमारा उत्तर क्या होना चाहिए?
1️⃣ “परमेश्वर की दया स्मरण दिला कर”
हमारा समर्पण डर से नहीं, बल्कि दया को याद करके होना चाहिए। परमेश्वर ने हमें पाप से बचाया, क्षमा दी, नया जीवन दिया। उसकी दया को समझकर हृदय कृतज्ञ हो जाता है।
2️⃣ “अपने शरीरों को… बलिदान करके चढ़ाओ”
पुराने नियम में बलिदान मरे हुए पशु का होता था। पर यहाँ “जीवित बलिदान” की बात है।
अर्थात हमारा पूरा जीवन — हमारा शरीर, हमारी आदतें, हमारा समय, हमारी आँखें, हमारे शब्द — सब कुछ प्रभु को समर्पित। हम रोज़ अपने जीवन को उसके हाथ में रखते हैं।
3️⃣ “जीवित”
समर्पण एक दिन का नहीं, प्रतिदिन का है। हर सुबह नया निर्णय — आज मैं प्रभु के लिए जीऊँगा।
4️⃣ “पवित्र”
पवित्रता का अर्थ है अलग किया हुआ। पाप से अलग, संसार की बुरी चाल से अलग, परमेश्वर की इच्छा के लिए अलग।
5️⃣ “परमेश्वर को भावता हुआ”
हमारा जीवन ऐसा हो कि प्रभु प्रसन्न हो। केवल लोगों को खुश करने के लिए नहीं, बल्कि परमेश्वर की इच्छा पूरी करने के लिए।
6️⃣ “यही तुम्हारी आत्मिक सेवा है”
सच्ची आराधना केवल गीत गाना नहीं है। सच्ची सेवा यह है कि हमारा जीवन ही आराधना बन जाए। हमारा चलना, बोलना, काम करना — सब कुछ परमेश्वर के लिए हो।

समर्पित जीवन ही सच्ची आत्मिक सेवा है।
जब हम खुद को प्रभु को दे देते हैं, तब वह हमारे जीवन को उपयोगी बनाता है।

“मैं मसीह के साथ क्रूस पर चढ़ाया गया हूं; और अब मैं जीवित न रहा, पर मसीह मुझ में जीवित है; और मैं शरीर में अब जो जीवित हूं तो केवल उस विश्वास से जीवित हूं, जो परमेश्वर के पुत्र पर है, जिसने मुझ से प्रेम किया, और मेरे लिये अपने आप को दे दिया।”
व्याख्या:
यह वचन समर्पण का सर्वोच्च रूप दिखाता है। पुराना “मैं” समाप्त, नया जीवन मसीह के साथ। जब हम समर्पित होते हैं, तब हमारा जीवन बदल जाता है — हम अपनी इच्छा से नहीं, बल्कि उसके प्रेम में जीते हैं।
2️⃣ 1 कुरिन्थियों 6:19-20
“क्या तुम नहीं जानते, कि तुम्हारी देह पवित्र आत्मा का मन्दिर है, जो तुम में बसा हुआ है और तुम्हें परमेश्वर की ओर से मिला है; और तुम अपने नहीं हो? क्योंकि दाम देकर मोल लिये गए हो; इसलिये अपने शरीर के द्वारा परमेश्वर की महिमा करो।”
व्याख्या:
हमारा शरीर हमारा नहीं, परमेश्वर का है। वह पवित्र आत्मा का निवास स्थान है। जब हम अपने शरीर और जीवन को शुद्ध रखते हैं, तो हम परमेश्वर की महिमा करते हैं।
3️⃣ लूका 9:23
“यदि कोई मेरे पीछे आना चाहे, तो अपने आप का इन्कार करे और प्रति दिन अपना क्रूस उठाए हुए मेरे पीछे हो ले।”
व्याख्या:
समर्पण का अर्थ है अपने आप का इन्कार। हर दिन अपनी इच्छा छोड़कर प्रभु की इच्छा को मानना। यह आसान नहीं, पर यही सच्चा चेलेपन का मार्ग है।

रोमियों 12:1 हमें सिखाता है कि समर्पण एक भावना नहीं, बल्कि निर्णय है।
एक बार नहीं, प्रतिदिन।
केवल शब्दों में नहीं, पूरे जीवन में।
जब हम अपने जीवन को जीवित, पवित्र और परमेश्वर को भावता हुआ बलिदान बनाते हैं, तभी हमारा जीवन सच्ची आत्मिक सेवा बन जाता है।

Romans 12:1 – A Life of Surrender
Scripture:
“Therefore, brothers and sisters, I urge you, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual service of worship.”
✨ Detailed Explanation of the Scripture
This verse was written by the Apostle Paul. In the earlier chapters, he explains about God’s mercy, grace, and salvation. Then he says — “Therefore.”
This means that after receiving such great mercy from God, what should be our response?
1️⃣ “In view of God’s mercy”
Our surrender should not come from fear, but from remembering His mercy.
God saved us from sin, forgave us, and gave us new life.
When we understand His mercy, our hearts become grateful.
2️⃣ “Offer your bodies… as a sacrifice”
In the Old Testament, sacrifices were dead animals.
But here Paul speaks about a “living sacrifice.”
This means our entire life —
Our body, our habits, our time, our eyes, our words — everything surrendered to the Lord.
Every day we place our lives into His hands.
3️⃣ “Living”
Surrender is not for one day, but daily.
Every morning is a new decision — Today I will live for the Lord.
4️⃣ “Holy”
Holiness means being set apart.
Separated from sin, separated from the evil ways of the world,
Set apart for the will of God.
5️⃣ “Pleasing to God”
Our life should be such that it pleases the Lord.
Not to please people,
But to fulfill the will of God.
