2 इतिहास 7:14 – दीन होकर प्रार्थना
वचन:
“तब यदि मेरी प्रजा के लोग जो मेरे कहलाते हैं, दीन हो कर प्रार्थना करें और मेरे दर्शन के खोजी हो कर अपनी बुरी चाल से फिरें, तो मैं स्वर्ग में से सुन कर उनका पाप क्षमा करूंगा और उनके देश को ज्यों का त्यों कर दूंगा।”
✨ प्रस्तावना – समाधान की कुंजी
उपवास का पाँचवाँ दिन हमें एक बहुत गहरी आत्मिक सच्चाई सिखाता है।
हम अक्सर सोचते हैं कि हमारी समस्याओं का समाधान बाहर है — परिस्थिति में, लोगों में, सरकार में, परिवार में या संसाधनों में।
लेकिन यह वचन बताता है कि असली परिवर्तन हृदय से शुरू होता है।
यह वचन उस समय दिया गया जब राजा सुलैमान ने मन्दिर बनाकर उसे यहोवा को समर्पित किया। तब परमेश्वर ने उसे दर्शन देकर यह प्रतिज्ञा दी।
यह केवल उस समय के इस्राएल के लोगों के लिए नहीं था, बल्कि हर उस व्यक्ति के लिए है जो स्वयं को परमेश्वर का कहता है।
यह एक शर्त वाली प्रतिज्ञा है।
अगर हम कुछ करें —
तो परमेश्वर भी कुछ करने का वादा करता है।
1️⃣ “यदि मेरी प्रजा के लोग जो मेरे कहलाते हैं”
ध्यान दीजिए — परमेश्वर संसार से शुरुआत नहीं करता।
वह अपनी “प्रजा” से शुरुआत करता है।
जो उसके नाम से जाने जाते हैं।
जो स्वयं को विश्वासयोग्य कहते हैं।
जो प्रार्थना करते हैं।
परमेश्वर पहले अपने लोगों को बुलाता है कि वे अपने जीवन की जांच करें।
अक्सर हम दुनिया की बुराई की बात करते हैं, पर यह वचन हमें याद दिलाता है — परिवर्तन परमेश्वर के घर से शुरू होता है।
2️⃣ “दीन हो कर प्रार्थना करें”
दीन होना केवल शब्द नहीं है।
यह हृदय की स्थिति है।
दीनता का अर्थ है:
- अपना घमण्ड छोड़ देना
- अपनी बुद्धि पर भरोसा न करना
- अपनी सामर्थ को पर्याप्त न मानना
- यह स्वीकार करना कि हमें परमेश्वर की आवश्यकता है
जब मनुष्य टूटे और नम्र हृदय से प्रभु के सामने झुकता है, तभी सच्ची प्रार्थना जन्म लेती है।
दीनता के बिना प्रार्थना केवल शब्द होती है।
दीनता के साथ प्रार्थना शक्ति बन जाती है।
3️⃣ “मेरे दर्शन के खोजी हो”
यह बहुत गहरा वाक्य है।
केवल आशीष मत खोजो।
केवल समाधान मत खोजो।
परमेश्वर को खोजो।
जब हम उसकी उपस्थिति को चाहते हैं, उसकी इच्छा को जानना चाहते हैं, उसके साथ समय बिताना चाहते हैं — तभी हमारा जीवन बदलता है।
प्रभु ने प्रतिज्ञा की है कि जो उसे पूरे मन से खोजता है, वह उसे पाएगा।
उपवास का उद्देश्य यही है — भोजन से अधिक परमेश्वर की उपस्थिति को महत्व देना।
4️⃣ “अपनी बुरी चाल से फिरें”
यह वचन का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण भाग है।
सिर्फ प्रार्थना करना पर्याप्त नहीं।
परिवर्तन आवश्यक है।
पाप से मुड़ना,
गलत रास्ते को छोड़ना,
पुरानी आदतों को त्यागना,
जीवन को सुधारना —
यही सच्चा पश्चाताप है।
पश्चाताप केवल आँसू नहीं, दिशा बदलना है।
जब हम मुड़ते हैं, तब परमेश्वर कार्य करता है।
5️⃣ “तो मैं स्वर्ग में से सुन कर”
परमेश्वर दूर नहीं है।
वह सुनता है।
हमारी हर सच्ची पुकार उसके कानों तक पहुँचती है।
जब प्रार्थना नम्रता और सच्चे हृदय से निकलती है, तो वह अनसुनी नहीं रहती।
6️⃣ “उनका पाप क्षमा करूंगा”
क्षमा परमेश्वर की महान दया है।
वह बदला लेने वाला परमेश्वर नहीं, बल्कि बहाल करने वाला परमेश्वर है।
जब हम सच में पश्चाताप करते हैं, वह क्षमा करने में देर नहीं करता।
क्षमा केवल दोष हटाना नहीं, नई शुरुआत देना है।
7️⃣ “उनके देश को ज्यों का त्यों कर दूंगा”
यह केवल भूमि की चंगाई की बात नहीं है।
यह जीवन की बहाली है।
- टूटा हुआ परिवार
- आर्थिक संघर्ष
- बीमारी
- आत्मिक सूखापन
- निराशा
परमेश्वर सब कुछ फिर से ठीक कर सकता है।
लेकिन क्रम याद रखें —
पहले दीनता
फिर प्रार्थना
फिर खोज
फिर पश्चाताप
फिर उत्तर

“यदि हम अपने पापों को मान लें, तो वह हमारे पापों को क्षमा करने, और हमें सब अधर्म से शुद्ध करने में विश्वासयोग्य और धर्मी है।”
व्याख्या:
पाप मानना कमजोरी नहीं है।
यह आत्मिक साहस है।
जब हम स्वीकार करते हैं, तब क्षमा का द्वार खुलता है।
परमेश्वर विश्वासयोग्य है।
वह अपनी प्रतिज्ञा पूरी करता है।

2 Chronicles 7:14 – Humble and Pray
Verse:
“Then if My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
✨ Introduction – The Key to the Solution
The fifth day of fasting teaches us a very deep spiritual truth.
We often think that the solution to our problems is outside — in circumstances, in people, in government, in family, or in resources.
But this verse tells us that real change begins in the heart.
This word was given when King Solomon built the temple and dedicated it to the Lord. Then God appeared to him and gave this promise.
This was not only for the people of Israel at that time, but for every person who calls himself God’s own.
This is a conditional promise.
If we do something —
then God also promises to do something.
1️⃣ “If My people who are called by My name”
Notice — God does not start with the world.
He starts with His “people.”
Those who are called by His name.
Those who call themselves faithful.
Those who pray.
God first calls His own people to examine their lives.
Often we talk about the evil in the world, but this verse reminds us — change begins in the house of God.
2️⃣ “Humble themselves and pray”
Humility is not just a word.
It is a condition of the heart.
Humility means:
- Letting go of pride
- Not trusting in our own wisdom
- Not considering our strength sufficient
- Accepting that we need God
When a person bows before the Lord with a broken and humble heart, then true prayer is born.
Without humility, prayer is only words.
With humility, prayer becomes power.
3️⃣ “Seek My face”
This is a very deep statement.
Do not seek only blessings.
Do not seek only solutions.
Seek God.
When we desire His presence, when we want to know His will, when we want to spend time with Him — then our life changes.
The Lord has promised that the one who seeks Him with all his heart will find Him.
This is the purpose of fasting — to value God’s presence more than food.
4️⃣ “Turn from their wicked ways”
This is the most important part of the verse.
Just praying is not enough.
Change is necessary.
Turning away from sin,
leaving the wrong path,
giving up old habits,
correcting our life —
This is true repentance.
Repentance is not just tears, it is changing direction.
When we turn, God works.
5️⃣ “Then I will hear from heaven”
God is not far away.
He hears.
Every sincere cry reaches His ears.
When prayer comes from humility and a true heart, it is not ignored.
6️⃣ “I will forgive their sin”
Forgiveness is God’s great mercy.
He is not a God who takes revenge, but a God who restores.
When we truly repent, He does not delay in forgiving.
Forgiveness is not only removing guilt, it is giving a new beginning.
7️⃣ “And heal their land”
This is not only about healing the land.
It is about restoration of life.
- Broken family
- Financial struggle
- Sickness
- Spiritual dryness
- Hopelessness
God can make everything right again.
But remember the order —
First humility
Then prayer
Then seeking
Then repentance
